This is another in our series about the high achievers here at the IBOtoolbox. Our participants graciously agreed to participate in this series, where we take a peek behind the curtain into the life of our IBO Champions. Each participant agreed to an email interview, answering questions about their life and business. It is a fun way to get to know our fellow members ... up close and personal. Let's get started! We welcome ...
Linda Michel White ...
... up close and Personal
1. Linda, please tell us a little bit about yourself, where you live, and a little about your background.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Linda Michel White. I was born & raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but due to lack of work I moved to Florida in the fall of 1981. Though I have no professional training, I have studied & practiced Personal Development since 1990, courtesy of AA. I am a published writer. I also studied for & became an award-winning clown. I participated in all of the parades as a solo act in Pinellas County for 9 years.
2. What is your main business?
These days my main promotion is Karatbars. I've decided I'd better start saving for my Golden Years!
Karatbars - The 21st Century Gold Rush.
3. What attracted you to the internet marketing world?
I was first attracted to internet marketing in the mid-nineties when my daughter bought a new computer & gave me her old one. I liked the idea of never having to commute again, being able to set my own hours. I also found the idea of creating my independence overwhelming & that's been my motivation to become a network marketer ever since.
4. What do you like best about IBOtoolbox?
The things I enjoy the most about IBO are the many friendships I've formed here, being able to share my Press Releases & researching new ideas when offered in new opportunities. Each day I get a fresh look at what I'm accomplishing & what needs tweeking gets tweeked.
5. What is your passion?
My passion is my writing being accompanied by soft instrumental background music. Though I've had no formal training, when I write it's like the words just form at the end of my fingertips. I get inspired by what I call. “God Nudges” that seem to just appear from thin air.
6. Who is the number one hero in your life?
My number one hero is Napoleon Hill. My practice of his works are what helped me educate myself.
7. What is the last book you read?
The last book I read is his classic, Think & Grow Rich.
8. What is playing on your iPod (CD,cassette,LP) right now? Your favorite music? Your most favorite song?
My favorite music is smooth jazz & there are so many but Ahmad Jamal - Poinciana is one of my favorites. He's in his 80's & still performing. I'll be 80 in December so listening to his music is awe inspiring to me.
9. What is your favorite food?
I've had a weight problem due to eating the wrong foods during the Holidays. I've lost weight this year by eliminating many foods that are not good for my health. I seldom eat processed foods & have given myself a sweet-toothectomy. I've kicked the sugar habit, I no longer crave sugary foods. I've lost almost 30 pounds & I could stand to lose a little more.
10. What is your weirdest habit?
My weirdest habit is staying up late & I enjoy being able to sleep in mornings.
11. What is your dream car?
12. What is on top of your bucket list, the one thing you want to do in your life?
13. Which person, dead or alive, would you like to have dinner with?
My best friend in the world lives in California & I live in Florida. We met online on a small site that no longer exists, but our friendship still does. We've never met in person, but if I were to ever be involved with a man in my life, it would be this wonderful man. He saw me through a 3 year period of depression.
14. What do you do every day to keep yourself motivated?
I am grateful for another day. I then pay attention to things that make themselves visible to me throughout the day in anticipation of any "God Nudges" that may be headed my way.
15. How would you like to be remembered, your legacy?
With all of the successful survivals I've known in my life & the long term goals I've reached, I'd like my epitaph to read, "She Died Climbing"!
16. What is your most profitable activity online today?
Being a writer I have developed many friendships online. They are of far more value to me than any financial gains. I'm looking forward to a long & profitable relationship with Karatbars. I like helping others to earn money & save gold.
17. Share with us the one link you want to share with the world, and why?
This is my Karatbars website & it explains most of what I'm liking about this new gold system.
